Flood Damage Restoration
Since carpet is completely immersed in water during manufacture, temporary flooding has no effect whatever. Rapid response is the key! Whether from rising water or a simple broken pipe, our professional procedures eliminate the inconvenience quickly, accurately and economically - with 24 hour emergency service!
Containment: Once the source of water has been eliminated, our technician employs industrial extraction equipment to remove the excess and contain the damage to the minimum area possible. Protection is provided to keep furniture from being damaged by water, while preventing carpet staining.
Damage Survey: Using special inspection tools, the technician determines the extent of the damage, and evaluates components (carpet, pad, floor, furniture, structure) and drying probability. Only then can a correct course of action, especially regarding pad restoration, be determined.
Mildewcide Treatment: The affected area is treated with an EPA-registered disinfectant to arrest and control sour odors and mildew, along with potential health problems, during drying.
Drying Equipment: Special drying and dehumidification equipment insures maximum drying with minimum inconvenience to you and your family or staff.
Final Procedures: Once dry, the carpet is reinstalled (pad replaced, if required); and final cleaning is accomplished to remove tracked soil or soil which "wicks" out of the carpet's backing during drying.
Complete Deodorization
Today's disaster-restoration technician has no less than five different systems (including electronic equipment which produces nature's most perfect deodorant, ozone gas) for permanent odor elimination! Given time and proper working conditions (that's the only catch!), one of our modern systems will eliminate even the most persistent odor problem.
